This vintage original travel poster promoting Vienna as a travel destination was issued in the early 1950s. The artist’s name is signed in print in the lower left corner of the image area but we are not able to identify the artist. This poster features a Mid-Century impressionistic view of the Vienna Rathaus with the English language title Beflagged City Hall printed just below the image. The lower margin indicates this poster was published by Fremdenverkehrsstelle der Stadt Wien and printed in Austria by Brüder Rosenbaum.
This vintage original poster has been professionally backed to linen and is in excellent condition overall.
