This delightful poster is the eighth in the Herman Miller Summer Picnic series created by the company’s illustrious graphic designer Steve Frykholm. This poster for the 1977 Herman Miller Summer Picnic features a Pop Art style rendering of a colorful fruit salad including at least five different types of fruit. The unveiling of Frykholm’s whimsical company summer picnic posters became a much anticipated annual event at Herman Miller. This is the eighth poster in the series which would continue in the decades that followed with each poster featuring a different picnic food item.
This vintage original poster shows only light handling wear including slight bumping to the edges in spots and a small crease at the top center edge. This poster retains vibrant color, displays beautifully and is in very good condition overall.
