This TWA poster was produced in the mid 1950s with artwork attributed to David Klein who did many wonderful posters for the airline in the 1950s and 1960s. Big Ben is seen over the shoulder of a one of the Queen’s Coldstream Guards which have been on continuous service with the British Army since 1650. A Lockheed Constellation, the airliner that formed the backbone of the TWA’s Atomic Age fleet, flies overhead. Samuel Johnson once said “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life”. Well, it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever get tired of this wonderful vintage original Mid-Century travel poster for London, one of the world’s most cosmopolitan and exciting cities.

This vintage original poster was never hung and is in very good clean condition with just very modest handling. Overall condition is excellent.
