This vintage original and rare WWII poster was created by the artist Earle B. Winslow to help boost morale in the lumber and forest products industries that provided essential war materiel. American soldiers build a pontoon bridge over a river in the Pacific theater as enemy shells explode nearby and the commander shouts “Keep That Lumber Coming!”. The US Army insignia appears in the lower right hand corner of the poster with the date 1943 and the U.S. GPO imprint in the lower margin. This rare poster was issued in the lumber producing areas of the country only and is next to impossible to find.

This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed and minor defects expertly addressed to create a truly striking and rare piece. Overall condition is very good.
