IN U.S.A. K-N Inc. 12-39” which we take to indicate a December 1939 publication date.

This vintage original poster has been professionally conservation mounted to linen with some expert touch up as needed including restoration to a small bit of loss on the tip of the upper left corner which was confined to the margin and doesn’t affect the image area. The poster shows some toning to the borders and was printed on coated paper which shows some small creases. Diagonal creases on each of the lower corners where skillfully mitigated during the linen backing process. The original colors are strongly retained making a truly magnificent and visually stunning poster. Interested buyers can contact us for photos of the poster prior to linen backing.

This is a very rare poster as we find no auction history and Google Lens doesn’t even locate the image. This South America poster was produced the same year as Ragan’s iconic New York Central Lines New 20th Century Limited that many consider one of the greatest American Art Deco travel posters.

https://goldenageposters.com/products/1939-south-america-moore-mccormack-lines-leslie-ragan-brazil-rare
