Art Section – Ft. Belvoir, Virginia\u003c\/em\u003e”.   The lower margin of the poster indicates this poster was issued by the U.S. Fidelity and Guarantee Company of Baltimore, Maryland.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe E.R.T.C. indicates Engineer Replacement Training Center at Fort Belvoir which had one of the most successful art sections in the American military including highly regarded artists Charles Shannon and Samuel Albert Countee among others.  This vintage original poster is printed on a textured paper and folded as issued.   The poster has three tape stains on both the upper and lower margin which could be corrected with basic linen backing.   The poster has a short tear of less than an inch on the lower edge and a single pinhole on each of the upper corners.
