This poster was created as advertising for Avalon Cigarettes. A pretty lady in a sombrero exudes both glamor and rustic charm above the tag line “You’d Never Guess…They Costs You Less”. The lower margin is printed “Litho In U.S.A. 1031-7-70” which I take to indicate a 1940 print date. This vintage original poster is unused New Old Stock in excellent condition with just very light evidence handling.
