This poster was produced by the publicity department of the Westinghouse Corporation shortly after the end of WWII to highlight the company’s roll in developing and manufacturing new jet aircraft engine technology for the U.S. Navy. We believe the jet engine shown on this poster and referred to as “Yankee” is the Westinghouse J30, the first American-designed turbojet to enter commercial production. This poster has a pleasing Mid-Century Modern style design and the lower margin is printed “Bulletin No. 120 – Post January 2, 1946”.

This poster is a vintage original in very good condition with light to moderate handling wear. See our other listings for more vintage original Westinghouse publicity posters from around this time period.
