This poster was produced by the publicity department of the Westinghouse Corporation shortly after the end of WWII to highlight the company’s roll in developing ground based aircraft radar systems. This poster describes the radar system developed for the US Army for aerial search purposes. The poster shows the rectangular “A” scopes used for showing accurate range and the “PPI” circular scopes for determining approximate range and accurate bearing.

The lower margin is printed “News Poster 124 – Post April 15, 1946”.

This poster is a vintage original showing moderate handling wear including slight creases and bumped edges. There are two short tears without loss on the top edge once of which was stabilized on verso with a small piece of acid paper archival tissue. Overall condition is good.
