This delightful poster is the eighth in the Herman Miller Summer Picnic series created by the company’s illustrious graphic designer Steve Frykholm. This poster for the 1977 Herman Miller Summer Picnic features a Pop Art style rendering of a fruit salad complete with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, grapes and more. The unveiling of Frykholm’s whimsical summer picnic posters became a much anticipated annual event at the Herman Miller company. This is the eighth poster in the series which would continue in the decades that followed with each poster featuring a different picnic food item.

This vintage original poster has been mounted to a foam core backing.   The poster shows moderate handling wear including a short tear of about an inch about halfway up on from the right side and a few other small nicks or abrasions on the edges.  The form core backing has a few old pieces of velco affixed on the back side not affecting the front side.  The colors remain strong and overall condition is very good.
