This delightful poster is the ninth in the Herman Miller Summer Picnic series created by the company’s illustrious graphic designer Steve Frykholm. This poster for the 1978 Herman Miller Summer Picnic features a Pop Art style rendering of a large delicious looking chocolate cake decorated with pink frosting roses on top. The unveiling of Frykholm’s whimsical company summer picnic posters became a much anticipated annual event at Herman Miller. This is the ninth poster in the series which began in 1970 and would continue in the decades that followed with each poster featuring a different picnic food item.

This vintage original poster shows only slight handling wear including gentle bumping to the edges in spots and a bit of light foxing along the bottom edge. This poster retains vibrant color, displays beautifully and is in very good condition overall.
