This delightful poster is the twelfth in the Herman Miller Summer Picnic series created by the company’s illustrious graphic designer Steve Frykholm. This poster for the 1981 Herman Miller Summer Picnic features a Pop Art style rendering of Baked Beans complete with strip of bacon. The unveiling of Frykholm’s whimsical summer picnic posters became a much anticipated annual event at the Herman Miller company. This is the twelfth poster in the series which would continue in the decades that followed with each poster featuring a different picnic food item.

This vintage original poster has been mounted to a foam core backing.   The poster shows light handling wear including slight bumping to the edges in spots and the form core backing has a few old pieces of velco affixed on the back side not affecting the front side.  The colors remain strong and overall condition is very good.
