This is a vintage original c.1910 New Home Sewing Machine advertising cardboard trolley car sign style poster.  This sign is printed one side only on cardboard and was designed to be installed as overhead advertising signage in trollies and streetcars.

This trolley card sign features an image of woman standing proudly with her New Home Sewing Machine with text that reads:  

The Sewing Machine Of Known Quality NEW HOME – Sews The Best, Lasts The Longest – The Best Made Warranted For All Time – Not sold under any other name – Write The New Home Sewing Machine Co. Orange, Mass. For Particulars 

This trolley card sign isn’t dated but is an antique original which looks to be early 20th century and probably dates to around 1910 or so.   This trolley card sign shows moderate handling wear and has a bit of light foxing most evident in the white margins around the sign.    There is a small puncture in the “E” in the word “NEW” on the left side and a couple small scattered spots in places.   The sign still displays beautifully.  Overall condition is very good.
