This stirring poster was created by the artist Bernard Perlin during the darkest days of WWII for the Office of War Information. Under a wintry gray sky, G.I.s in their burly US Army wool trench coats march purposely past a wall of Revolutionary War Minutemen who stand at stern attention with the hardships of Valley Forge winters etched on their faces. The lower margin indicates this is OWI Poster No. 26.
This poster is a vintage original in the half sheet size folded. This poster is folded as issued and has no tape or pinholes. The poster shows light handling wear, some slight bumping to the edges in places and about a half inch of separation along the lateral fold lines at each edge. The colors are robust and overall condition is very good. This poster ships folded as issued.
