This vintage original travel poster was issued by the British Overseas Airways Corporation to promote their travel destination of Peru in South America.   This poster features an image titled Pre-Columbian Bird Motif Peru and isn’t dated but was likely issued around the time BOAC introduced flight service to Peru in April 1961.  Text on the poster reads Fly BOAC PERU – British Overseas Airways Corporation. The lower right corner indicates this poster was printed in the United States.   

This vintage original poster is free or tape or pinholes and probably wasn’t hung up or used.  The poster shows two tiny nicks off the left edge near the upper corner and moderate handling wear including slightly bumped edges and a bit of creasing to the tip of the upper left corner.  Basic linen backing could get this poster looking close to perfect or display it just as it is in very good condition overall.
