This vintage original c.1960s Danish circus poster features the artwork of Erik Stockmarr. Stockmarr renders a whimsical image of a mustachioed circus ringmaster leaning back casually with his head resting in the mouth of a large lion bracketed by text that reads: 

BENNEWEIS Skandinaviens Storske Cirkus – Benneweis / De Praegtige Berberlover 

Stockmarr’s name is signed in print in the lower right corner of the image area and the lower margin indicates the printer as Permild & Rosengreen KBH.   This vintage original poster is free of tape or pinholes and shows light to moderate handling wear with some bumping to the edges in places and a bit of creasing to the tip of the lower right corner. Overall condition is very good.
