This whimsical poster was created in 1967 by Jacqui Morgan for The Electric Circus discotheque and nightclub in New York City’s East Village. The Electric Circus operated from 1967 until September 1971 and was known as "New York's ultimate mixed-media pleasure dome”. Bands that played The Electric Circus included The Velvet Underground and Sly & The Family Stone among many others. This poster has classic psychedelic design elements popular during the era, was never used and has no tape or pinholes. Overall condition is very good with just some modest handling wear and lightly bumped edges.
