This poster is part of a limited edition set of six silkscreen Art Deco theater posters created by Italian American sculpture, artist and industrial designer Alfonso Iannelli for the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles between 1910 and 1915.   The limited edition set, of which this poster is one, was reproduced in a run of 1,000 by the Chicago Architectural Foundation in 1968.   This poster was issued originally to promote the popular comedic male quartette Big City Four which includes members Rover, Bates, Emerson and Wood.

This poster is a vintage original from the limited edition set issued by the Chicago Architectural Foundation in 1968.  The poster has a bit of light spotting that looks like a water splatter mark at the center and shows handling wear including some scuffing and small creases in the image area.  The poster also has pinholes on the covers and a small pinhole tear in the margin on the lower lefthand corner.  Please see the photos and contact us for more photos or with any questions.  Please also see our other listing for other posters from this limited edition set.
