This is a vintage original poster for the Space Flight Report To The Nation space industry conference and trade show held October 9 to 15, 1961 at the New York Coliseum.   This event was sponsored by the American Rocket Society during the early days of the Project Mercury and Project Apollo programs. Press releases for the event describe it as “…for the first time under one roof a complete review of the work being done in each of the major technical disciplines contributing to current progress in rocketry, missiles and space flight and one of the largest and most extensive technical exhibits ever undertaken in these fields…” 

This poster has a graphically interesting modernist design with arrows pointing upwards with a single moon or planet above and text at the top of the poster that reads:

This rare poster is a vintage original from the event.   The poster has a small printer’s sticker on the lower right corner and a single staple hole at the center on the top and bottom edges.   The poster shows a bit of light foxing, slight toning from age and moderate handling wear.   This poster is free of tape and displays very nicely.  Overall condition is very good.
