This is a group of five rare vintage original c.1964 McCulloch Outboard Boat Motor dealer advertising posters.  Each of these posters highlight a different feature or benefit of McCulloch outboards including Shallowater Drive, Bail-A-Matic, Surface Gap-Ignition, Dependability and Light Weight High-Performance.  

These posters are not dated but McCulloch Motors Corporation only sold outboard motors from 1956 to 1967 and we believe that the Shallowater Drive feature on one of the posters became available on some McCulloch outboard models in the early to mid 1960s and that the posters likely date to around that c.1964 time period.  

These posters are all uniform in size and were likely issued as a set.  These posters are free or tape or pinholes and show moderate handling wear and some toning from age most evident on the back.   All posters have a shallow notch off the right edge and three of the posters have a small bit of loss off the tip of the lower right corner but in all cases these issues are confined to the margin and don’t affect the image area.  The “Dependability” poster has a second shallow notch off the margin on the right edge and shows some foxing most evident toward the bottom of the poster.   The “Surface-Gap Ignition” poster also shows some light scattered foxing in places.  These posters are in nice shape as is or with basic linen backing, which we can arrange for an additional cost, could be made to look almost like new.   Overall condition is very good.
