This delightful pictorial cartoon map of the continental United States was issued by the Greyhound Bus Lines Corporation in 1941. The cartouche area of the map in the upper right hand corner indicates:

This elaborately illustrated map features charming vignettes and icons which are numbered and correspond to a detailed key printed on the verso explaining 117 attractions in total. Greyhound bus routes are delineated in black with the interconnecting bus routes indicated by a dotted line. This artist’s name appears in the lower righthand corner as N. Wagner and a 1941 copyright is printed in the lower left hand corner.
This vintage original pictorial map poster is folded as issued and very clean with bright color. The original owner made a few light pencil check marks next to entries on the key printed on the verso. Overall condition is very good.
