This delightful Mid-century pictorial cartoon map was issued by the Baltimore Steam Packet Company which was also known as the Old Bay Line. This map is a brochure format of 12 pages that folds open to reveal the pictorial map covering the entirety of the centerfold pages with text on the upper and lower margins that reads:
Go Places and See Things - Via Baltimore Steam Packet Co.
The lower margin of the back cover page is printed "Folder No. 3 - July 1937 Edition" so thus the date. In addition to the pictorial map of Chesapeake Bay covering the centerfold pages this brochure also has deck plans for ships operated by the company, a few photos and brief descriptions of points of interest along the routes and general information for travelers. The map shows just slight handling wear and modest toning from age and the staples are a trifle rusted. Overall condition is very good.
