1940 Errol Flynn in Dodge City Studio Photo by Schuyler Crail Warner Bros DW 10x13

This is a vintage original gelatin silver glossy double-weight 10.375” x 13.75” photograph of Hollywood leading man Errol Flynn by noted Hollywood photographer Schuyler Crail. This photo has Crail’s handstamp on verso along with a caption slip explaining the photo shows Flynn with his tiny gray squirrel companion “Pearlie” at the shooting location for Flynn’s Warner Brothers movie Dodge City near Modesto, California. 

The Michael Curtiz direct western Dodge City was released by Warner Brothers in 1939 so thus the date.  Dodge City, which starred Olivia de Havilland and Anne Sherifan along with Flynn, was a box office success and one of the highest grossing films of 1939.

This vintage original large format double-weight Schuyler Crail photograph is in very good condition overall with just light handling wear. Overall condition is very good. This photo comes with a protective archival holder and will ship fully insured and very well packed.
