This vintage original poster was issued by the United States Office of Defense Transportation in 1942 to encourage Americans to carpool and rideshare to help preserve rubber supplies for the war effort.   This is a text only poster with large red block capital letters reading SAVE RUBBER – SWAP RIDES bracketing bullet points that read:

1 Make every tire carry a passenger
2 Drive more slowly in hot weather
3 Check tire pressure at least once a week

This vintage original poster is folded as issued and looks pretty well unused with on tape or pinholes and only light handling wear and slight toning from age.  Overall condition is very good.
