This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the Office of Defense Transportation and the Office of War Information as OWI Poster No. 28 in 1943. A determined women laden with parcels and a bag of groceries stands out against the silhouettes of marching American fighting men carrying full rucksacks and rifles and proclaims – I’ll carry mine too! The bottom of the poster delivers the message – Trucks and Tires Must Last Till Victory.

This vintage original poster was issued folded, was later stored rolled and has been returned to the original folded state.   The poster had a small bit of separation at the top and bottom edge of the vertical fold line which has been repaired on verso by the application of a small piece of acid free archival repair tissue.   The poster has a couple light lateral crease lines near the bottom edge and otherwise looks pretty well unused and very clean with no tape or pinholes.  Overall condition is very good. This poster ships folded as issued.
