This vintage original poster is one in a series used to promote the 1967 International and Universal Exposition or Expo 67 as it was more commonly known. This world’s fair ran from April 28 to October 29, 1967 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is considered to be one of the most successful world's fairs of the 20th century. This poster features a bird’s-eye view of the fairgrounds on Montreal’s Saint Helen's Island and the artificial Notre Dame Island. The lower right edge has a 1963 copyright indicating the poster was issued a few years before the opening of the fair in 1967. A photography credit to Chicago photographer Clark Dean is also printed in the lower right corner.
