This vintage original poster was issued by British Airways to announce the launch of non-stop service between London and Seattle, Washington. This poster isn’t dated but the non-stop service between began in 1980 so thus the date. This poster shows the image of a Boeing 747 coming in for a landing with text that reads British Airways Comes to Seattle Starting April 27 – Non-Stop to London 3 Times Weekly Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. The lower right corner of the poster is printed “Printed in Great Britain No. 132”.
This vintage original poster is free or tape or pinholes and was probably never used. The poster shows moderate handling wear including some slight lateral creasing and a crease to the upper left corner. Overall condition is very good.
