This vintage original Italian poster advertising the city of Venezia as a travel destination was issued by ENIT, Italy’s official state tourism authority, in 1938.  This poster features an image of the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute seen across Venice’s Grand Canal from the Venetian Gothic arches of Doge's Palace.  Just below the image the printer is identified as “Stab. Luigi Salomone – Roma”.  Also printed below the right corner of the image is “ESENTE DA BOLLO Provvediemnto N. 251 DEL. 3-8-1938-VXI Affissione Autorizzata Dalla R. Questura Di Roma In Data 20-9-1938-XVI”.  

This vintage original poster has been professionally backed to line with expert repair to a small tear on the tip of the upper left corner.   The poster displays beautifully and overall condition is very good.
