This vintage original British travel poster was issued by the British Travel and Holidays Association in 1955 to promote festivals throughout the United Kingdom.   This poster features an image of a medieval minstrel on a theater stage playing a stringed instrument that looks like a lute.  Text at the bottom lists a number of British festivals including The Edinburgh International Festival of Music and Drama; Shakespeare Season, Stratford-Upon-Avon; The Glyndebourne Opera Festival; The Bath May Festival; The International Musical Eisteddfod, Llangollen and The Cheltenham Festival of British Contemporary Music.  Text printed along the bottom edge indicates this poster was printed in Great Britain by W.S. Cowell, Ltd. of Ipswich and shows a 1955 publication date.

This vintage original poster looks unused, is free of tape and pinholes and shows only slight handling wear.  The colors retain their original vibrancy and overall condition in excellent.
