This beautiful poster was created by Dutch artist Guust Hens to promote travel to the Keukenhof, one of the world’s largest flower gardens located in the town of Lisse in the Netherlands, for the Spring season of 1955. Keukenhof, sometimes referred to as the “Garden of Europe”, has an annual planting of more than 7 million flower bulbs and is the jewel of Holland’s Dune and Bulb Region. The artist’s name appears in the lower right hand corner of the image and lower margin indicates “Printed in the Netherlands by MOUNTON – the Hague”. This vintage original poster was never hung and is in very good clean condition with just very modest handling. Overall condition is excellent.
