This delightful vintage original pictorial map poster of Northern Ireland was created by the British artist Frederick Griffin and issued by the British Travel and Holidays Association in 1955.  This map poster is elaborately illustrated with colorful icons of historical figures, important sites and points of interest in Northern Ireland all delightfully rendered in a pleasing Mid-Century design. The lower margin indicates this poster was printed by James Upton Limited of Birmingham and shows “55/4/14” which we take to indicate a 1954 publication date.

This vintage original pictorial map poster has no tape or pinholes and shows just light handling wear and some bumping along the lower left edge.   The poster shows slight scattered foxing towards the bottom and modest toning from age.  The colors remain vibrant and overall condition is very good.
