This spectacular poster for Zermatt in the Swiss Alps was created by the artist Emil Aufdenblatten and issued in 1956. A view of the Matterhorn, almost startling in its magnificence, forms the backdrop for a couple small farms visible in the foreground. The lower margin indicates the date 1956 and “Printed In Switzerland - H. Vontobel, Feldmeilen”.

This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with expert to a tear of a couple inches at the bottom edge and mitigation to a crease on the upper left hand corner and other minor touch up as needed. This poster has marvelous color and displays beautifully. Overall condition is very good.
