This vintage original poster features a stylized view of the Philip Frankel & Company building at Harper’s Ferry in West Virginia. Philip Frankel & Company was a men’s clothing store operating around the time of John Brown’s Raid in 1859 which still exists today as an historical landmark. This poster has a 1972 copyright by the Harper’s Ferry Historical Association printed in the lower left hand corner. The printed signature of the artist and date appear on the right edge and look like “Simon” and “11/71”

This vintage original poster shows moderate handling wear and short tear of about an inch and a half without paper loss on the bottom edge. The poster shows some slight creasing and bumped edges in spots and there are a couple small tape stains (but no tape) on the back of the poster not affecting the front side. Overall condition is otherwise very good.
