This is a rare vintage original silkscreen WPA poster created by the artist Emanual “Manuel” DeColas and issued by the New York State Bureau of Publicity Conservation Department. This poster features a stylized summer day landscape view with text that reads:
IT’S SPRING IN NEW YORK STATE THE STATE THAT HAS EVERYTHING Bureau of State Publicity. Conservation Dept. Lithgow Osborne, Commissioner, Albany, N.Y.
The lower margin is printed “Executed By Federal Arts Project” denoting the WPA. This is an unrestored and moderately used poster in very good condition. The poster shows a pinhole on each corner and at the center top and bottom margin. The poster was neatly folded into quarters and shows some wear to the fold lines, some toning and light bumping to the edges in places. Overall condition is very good.
