This beautiful poster was issued by the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad in the late 1940s or early 1950s to promote travel and tourism in the Western United States. This particular poster features San Francisco’s iconic Oakland Bay Bridge at sunset along with the Santa Fe logo and destination name San Francisco printed in large red letters across the bottom.

This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed.   Small abrasions in the margin near the upper right and left corners not affecting the image area have been expertly repaired.   This poster was free of any tape or pinholes and otherwise looked pretty well unused before linen backing. The colors are excellent and overall condition is very good.
