This wonderful Mid-century travel poster was produced for United Air Lines by Joseph Feher and features a UAL Douglas DC-6 flying over New York City’s Central Park. The poster isn’t dated but would have been produced in the late 1940s or early 1950s as United introduced the DC-6 into their fleet in 1947 thereby offering their passengers a pressurized cabin service for the first time. Central Park’s Gapstow Bridge is seen along with the iconic Plaza Hotel and other landmark buildings along Fifth Avenue.

This vintage original poster was never hung and is in very good condition with just slight handling. Overall condition is excellent.
