This vintage original travel poster was created by Sikh artist Sobha Singh and issued by the India tourism authority in the 1950s to promote Kanchenjunga in the Himalayas as a travel destination. This poster features an image of two men sounding large horns that look similar to the traditional Karnal horns played in parts of Northern India and Nepal. The lower margin indicates this poster was printed by the New Jack Printing Works Ltd. of Bombay.
This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with minor touchups expertly applied as needed. The colors remain strong and overall condition is very good.
