This striking Mid-century poster was created by Franz Schwetz for the Austrian state of Salzburg. Schwetz’s artwork imparts the idyllic beauty of the region with sailboats gliding across a serene Lake Zell against the majesty of snow peaked Alps. The lower margin indicates “Printed In Austria – Landesverkehrsamt in Salzburg - WUB-Druck, Innsbruck-Linz”
This poster was never hung and is in very good condition with not tape of pin holes. Close examination reveals two short creased near the left center edge area of this poster which is otherwise nearly perfect with just modest handling wear.
