This vintage original travel poster was issued by the official New Zealand tourism authority in the late 1950s or early 1960s. This poster features Mount Sefton which is located in New Zealand’s spectacular Mount Cook National Park. In the native Māori language Mount Sefton is called Maukatua which translates as 'mountain of the gods”. The lower margin of the poster indicates “R.E. Owen, Government Printer, Wellington, New Zealand”.

This poster has no tape or pinholes and shows light handling wear including a bit of creasing on the upper left hand corner and slight bumping on the right edge. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
