This is a vintage original c.1972 United Airlines advertising sign for Hawaii in the form of a plastic raised relief or 3D topographical map contained in vintage Tiki motif style frame.   Both map and frame are plastic.   The map shows all the Hawaii islands in raised relief along with the Hawaii Visitors Bureau and United Airlines logos.   The frame has a thickness of about 1.75” and the appearance of being elaborately carved with Tikis, whales and Hawaiian outrigg er canoes.   

This map was issued as an advertising piece for United Airlines to promote Hawaii as a travel destination and was used in a travel agency in the early to mid 1970s.   This vintage original United Airlines raised relief Hawaii map sign shows light handling wear and has a few minor blemishes.  Overall condition is very good.
