This poster was produced by the publicity department of the Westinghouse Corporation just after the end of WWII to highlight the company’s roll in developing the Westinghouse Approach Angle Indicator which was a landing lamp system used “…to guide planes to runways of airports at the correct angle for landing.”

The lower margin is printed “Bulletin 119 – Post December 17, 1945”.

This poster is a vintage original showing moderate handling wear including a bit of slight creasing and bumped edges. There is a tear of about an inch without loss on the top edge which is stabilized on verso with a small piece of acid paper archival tissue. The poster displays well and overall condition is very good for this rare vintage original poster highlighting Westinghouse’s roll in commercializing technology developed during WWII. See our other listings for more vintage original Westinghouse publicity posters from around this time period.
