This vintage original poster is one of the relatively few posters, compared to WWII, issued by the United States Treasury during the Korean War era.  The poster’s image is dominated by a large American flag billowing resolutely against what looks like the war clouds of an angry sky representing conflict and strife in far away lands.  Text across the bottom of the poster reads NOW LET’S ALL BUY DEFENSE BONDS with the word “Defense” made to look as if it was later added. Another version of this same poster by Orr exists without the world "Defense" added.  The lower margin indicates a 1950 publication date and indicates “Official U.S. Treasury Poster”.

This lightly used vintage original poster is free of tape or pinholes and shows moderate handling wear including some wear on the fold lines and a small bit of wear at the intersection of the fold lines.  The back of the poster shows some toning from age while front side retains the original color vibrancy and looks great.  Overall condition is very good.  This poster is folded as issued and ships that way.
