This vintage original and delightful Atomic Age pictorial map of the Navajo Nation was created by the talented artist and mapmaker Don Bloodgood.  The title NAVAJOLAND U.S.A. is printed in the upper left corner and a 1960 copyright by the Navajo Tribal Council is printed on the lower right corner.

This elaborate pictorial map shows the entirety of the nearly 28,000 square miles of the Navajo Nation in the Desert Southwest of the Untied States primarily in Arizona but also extending into New Mexico and Utah.  Colorful icons and caricatures denote numerous historical and culture sites and points of interest across the vast and beautiful landscape. Grand Canyon National Park is shown on the map abutting the western border of Navajoland USA.

This vintage original pictorial map shows light handling wear and modest toning from age.  Pinholes on the corners are also noted and a short tear of about two inches without paper loss on the lower right edge has been rendered virtually invisible by the application of a small piece of acid free document repair tissue on the verso.   This poster displays beautifully and overall condition is very good.
