This vintage original 1972 poster is one of the first to be issued by the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA was established by Presidency of Richard Nixon and began operations in December of 1970. This poster has a 1972 copyright by the USGPO printed in the lower margin dating to the early days of that agency which were characterized by an enormous sense of purpose and excitement. This poster features a view of a flowing waterfall with the caption:

Programs we develop and implement together in this decade will enhance life on this planet in all the tomorrows to come.

This poster shows light toning from age and modest handling wear. There is a tiny nick off the tip of the lower right hand corner.  Overall condition is very good.
