c.1912 Posters That Attract Crowds American Show Print Co. Poster Catalog

​This is an original antique c.1912 catalog of stock posters issued by the American Show Print Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.   This catalog is a small booklet format of 16 pages measuring about 5-7/8” x 3-1/4” with the cover title Posters That Attract The Crowds.  Inside several different types of stock posters are illustrated, briefly described and priced.  Poster subjects featured include Aeroplane Flight Posters, Automobile Racing Posters, Automobile Show Posters, Motor Cycle Racing Posters, Firemen’s Tournament Posters, Fourth of July Celebration and Home Coming Posters and Baseball Posters with additional available poster types listed on the inside back cover.  

This catalog isn’t dated but is an original early 20th century antique issued probably around 1912 or so.   The posters featured are stock posters which were basically generic designs that could be overprinted with additional information such as venues and dates to specific events.   This catalog is fully complete and intact and in very good condition with just light handling wear and modest toning from age.
