This is vintage original c.1930 advertising poster for the Eveready Layerbilt Extra Long Life Radio “B” Battery.   This poster has an Art Deco style design with lettering across the top that reads Buy the New LAYERBUILT. The poster isn’t dated but the Union Carbide and Carbon Company that owned the Eveready brand was using the “Layerbilt” brand name by the mid 1920s and the model no. 486 battery shown on this poster can be found advertised in various radio equipment catalogs by the early to mid 1930s. The fact this poster touts this battery as “New” seems to support a c.1930 date for the poster. Document code “Form C 1184” is printed in the lower left corner.

This vintage original poster looks pretty well unused with no tape or pinholes and only slight handling wear and some toning from age evident on the verso. The colors are bright and sharp and overall condition is very good.
