This vintage original WWII era poster issued by the Civil Aeronautics Administration to promote Federal Airways Air Marking Program managed by that agency. This program, begun in 1935, involved placing aeronautical markings on building roofs, water towers and other places to help guide civilian pilots. This poster isn’t dated but is a vintage original issued toward the end of WWII, probably in 1944 or 1945. This poster is folded and shows a small bit of separation and wear on the edge on one of the fold lines. Overall condition is otherwise very good for this vintage original.
