This delightful pictorial map poster of Watertown, Wisconsin was created by the local artist Eunice Gruner for the Watertown Historical Society.  The map isn’t dated but the Watertown Historical Society made the map available for purchase in 1948 so thus the date.  The Wisconsin Historical Society dates their copy as c.1940.   The map’s title is printed in the upper right corner as Historical and Illustrative Map of Watertown, Wisconsin and artist’s name is signed in print on the lower right corner as E. Gruner.  

This map shows numerous buildings and historical points of interest around the Watertown area dating back to the 1830s all surrounded by a decorative green border.   A small inset on the right side is printed “Compiled and Edited By Watertown Historical Society”.  This vintage original poster is free of tape or pinholes and looks pretty well unused with just slight handling.  Overall condition is very good.
