This vintage original poster was issued by the United States Treasury during WWI in support of the Third Liberty Loan which was enacted in April 1918. This poster appeals to the patriotic feelings of Americans by asking the simple question – Are You 100% American? If the answer is yes then there was no better way to prove it than by buying government bonds of the Third Liberty Loan. The artist’s name Stern appears at the bottom of the image area and the lower right hand corner indicates the maker of this poster as Sackett & Wilhelms Corp. of New York.
This vintage original poster was folded once laterally and once vertically and shows moderate toning from age and moderate handling wear including light creasing in places and a few short tears in the edges without paper loss. The original owner made some notations in sepia ink on the back of the poster which doesn't show on the front side. The poster still displays well and is in good shape overall.
