This vintage WWI era original is one of the most well-known posters produced for the Third Liberty Loan campaign. The artwork by Howard Chandler Christy features a woman raising the American flag and gesturing forward as an army of American doughboys marches behind her with text that reads FIGHT OR BUY BONDS.   The Third Liberty Loan was enacted on April 5, 1918 to raise $4.1 billion for the war effort so thus the date for this poster.  This poster is more commonly found in the 30" x 20" but this example here is the larger 40" x 30" version.

This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with minor touchup as needed including expert repair to a couple short tears on the edges and small bit of replaced loss at the tip of the upper right hand corner.  The colors are bold and overall condition is very good.
